LED Candle Light Bulbs
LED candle light bulbs are ideal for fittings and lamps that require a decorative type of bulb, such as those where the bulb itself is on show. They are available in a range of cap types, from B22d bayonet caps (BC) to E27 Edison Screw caps (ES), and a variety of finishes, from transparent filament-style LEDs to opaque thermal plastic.

Candle bulbs are so named because they mimic the shape of a candle flame. Some of the more decorative types, such as chandelier bulbs, have flared tips, to make them look even more like a flame. Dimmable LED candle bulbs let you adjust light levels to create the perfect atmosphere.
Most LED candles will be made of thermal plastic, and the bulb envelope itself will be opaque. As many fittings use candle bulbs without a shade (or in a transparent fitting), a pearl or opal bulb will give off a softer light and ensure there is no harsh glare. You can also find transparent, filament-style bulbs designed to mimic traditional incandescents, which offer a stylish alternative to thermal plastic bulbs.
As LED candle lights are often used in smaller fittings, such as table lamps and wall lights, they most usually have smaller caps. SES LED candles (small Edison screw) are the most common type used today, although you can find them with a wide range of caps.
