LED Weatherproof Fixtures
When choosing an LED light for use outdoors, it is important to choose one with a sufficient IP (Ingress Protection) rating. Many of our LED bulkheads, high bay lights and battens are suitable for outdoor use, and once installed, they shouldn't need replacing for years, regardless of the conditions outside.
If you need an LED light for use outdoors, it is crucial that you pick one with the correct level of protection. Many lamps that are suitable for indoor use cannot be used outdoors.
For them to be safe to use outdoors, LED lights must have a sufficient IP (Ingress Protection) rating. This protects the light from water as well as the ingress of foreign objects (dirt and dust). Lights with an IP rating of 65 or above are ideal for outdoors use, as they are fully weatherproof.
Many of our high bay lights, LED battens and bulkheads are IP rated. They are durable and reliable, and once installed should not need replacing for years, regardless of the conditions outside.
