Help & Info
When we first conceived the NxtGen range of LED spotlights back in 2012, we envisioned it as a more economical, efficient and cost-effective way of replacing your old-fashioned light bulbs.
The 6W LED Golfball you see here is part of an all new range of LED bulbs from NxtGen, but it still embodies this same philosophy both inside and out.
With a rated light output of 470 lumens, it produces the same warm white light you’d expect to see from a 40W filament golfball. It can last up to 15 times longer though, with a nominal lifetime of 15,000 hours that far outstrips its flimsier incandescent counterparts.
The body is constructed from a lightweight plastic casing that manages the bulb’s minimal heat output much more effectively than metal and glass, but costs a fraction to produce.
It still shares exactly the same Edison screw base as traditional golfball bulbs though, which means that replacing your old-fashioned filament bulb with this modern LED alternative is as simple as, well, changing a light bulb. Simply remove the old lamp from its fitting, twist this one into its place and you will immediately begin to reap the benefits of improved efficiency, reliability and longevity.
