This dimmable LED golfball from Crompton Lamps is designed to reproduce the incandescent glow of a traditional bulb without the same drawbacks, particularly in terms of efficiency and performance.

It produces the same light output as a 40W filament bulb but requires just 6.5W to do so, hence the excellent A+ energy rating.

It can be paired with any compatible dimmer switch so that brightness and intensity can be altered to suit a particular mood, while the clear envelope and unique lens design mimic the look of a traditional filament light bulb.

Despite the comparable aesthetics, this bulb boasts all of the modern improvements you might expect from an LED product. A nominal lifetime of 15,000 hours means it is expected to last around 15 times longer than the 40W bulbs it's designed to replace, while a vastly superior level of efficiency allows it to shave up to 90% off your lighting bill during its lifetime.

Warranty Information  

Here at SimplyLED, we want you to be able to buy with confidence both in ourselves and the products we sell. With this in mind, a number of our bulbs carry a specific warranty that ensures you can do exactly that.

Any LED or LED Smart light bulb bought from SimplyLED carries a 24-month warranty.

If you should purchase an LED light bulb from SimplyLED and have it fail, break or develop a fault at any point within the timeline stated above from the date of purchase, we will happily replace the item or offer a full refund, depending on your wishes.

In instances where large numbers of bulbs fail within a relatively short period of time, we may ask you to return them to us so that they can undergo testing to identify any potential issues.

Manufacturers Warranty

This product is also covered by a manufacturer's warranty for a period of 3 years from date of purchase. Please visit the manufacturer's website for further details.

What doesn't our warranty cover?

In any instance where your bulb has developed a fault, we will do our utmost to replace it or offer a full refund (provided the item is still within its stated warranty period). However, if it becomes apparent that the product has been misused, tampered with or modified in any way, we will view this as having voided its warranty.

'Misuse" includes, but is not limited to, incorrect operation by the user, use of non-dimmable bulbs on a dimmable circuit or connection to or operation with an unsuitable power supply. 'Tampering' or 'modification' can be interpreted as any activity designed to alter the product in such a way that it can be used in a manner that wasn't intended by its original design. This can include rewiring, removing plugs, home repairs or changing components. Unfortunately, we won't be able to replace any item that has undergone any such process.
