LED downlights find the perfect balance between form and function. They can make a stylish, unobtrusive addition to any domestic or commercial environment, and as they are LED lights, their long lifespan and energy saving qualities make them a good investment.

There are a wide variety of LED downlights available on SimplyLED; if you need help deciding which one is right for you, read our buying guide for more information.

Fire-rated LED downlights offer even greater security than standard lights. Although all downlights must meet certain safety standards, fire-rated downlights are rigorously tested to ensure that they help prevent the spread of fire. These are ideal for commercial environments where fire safety is even more important.

Ensure that you space your downlights evenly when installing them. Too close together and the light may not be evenly distributed around the room, while installing them too far apart could leave dim patches. If you're not sure how to install integrated downlights, we would advise you to consult a qualified electrician.
