Philips Candle LED Light Bulb DimTone E14 5.5W (40W Eqv) Warm White

£6.97

The decorative range of MASTER LED candle light bulbs from Philips is designed to bridge the gap between traditional aesthetics and modern efficiency.

The dimmable 5.5W option pictured here is designed to replace a 40W filament candle light bulb. It does so seamlessly, consuming a fraction of the power but producing an incandescent sparkling effect that is reminiscent of the original light bulb.

With this in mind, it will retrofit directly to any existing SES-E14 small Edison screw (14mm) fixture; whether that be in large-scale commercial installations such as chandeliers or wall sconces, or in smaller domestic applications.

The LED candle light bulb's unique design delivers a whole slew of benefits, from desirable aesthetics that work just as effectively when the light bulb is turned off, to excellent efficiency and even light distribution. Traditional light bulbs have a tendency to shift towards a warmer colour as they dim, while LED traditionally maintains the same colour. DimTone technology successfully mimics this behaviour by dimming from 2700K to 2200K when dimmed while delivering all the efficiencies and reduced maintenance costs associated with LED.

The light bulb boasts a 25,000 hour rated lifetime and level of efficiency that is leagues ahead of the incandescent light bulbs that came before it (in some cases reducing lighting bills by up to 90%) - all in a package that looks just as good, if not better, than those it is intended to replace.

Here at SimplyLED, we want you to be able to buy with confidence both in ourselves and the products we sell. With this in mind, a number of our bulbs carry a specific warranty that ensures you can do exactly that.

Any LED or LED Smart light bulb bought from SimplyLED carries a 24-month warranty.

If you should purchase an LED light bulb from SimplyLED and have it fail, break or develop a fault at any point within the timeline stated above from the date of purchase, we will happily replace the item or offer a full refund, depending on your wishes.

In instances where large numbers of bulbs fail within a relatively short period of time, we may ask you to return them to us so that they can undergo testing to identify any potential issues.

What doesn't our warranty cover?

In any instance where your bulb has developed a fault, we will do our utmost to replace it or offer a full refund (provided the item is still within its stated warranty period). However, if it becomes apparent that the product has been misused, tampered with or modified in any way, we will view this as having voided its warranty.

'Misuse" includes, but is not limited to, incorrect operation by the user, use of non-dimmable bulbs on a dimmable circuit or connection to or operation with an unsuitable power supply. 'Tampering' or 'modification' can be interpreted as any activity designed to alter the product in such a way that it can be used in a manner that wasn't intended by its original design. This can include rewiring, removing plugs, home repairs or changing components. Unfortunately, we won't be able to replace any item that has undergone any such process.

If you have any further questions about our Warranty or Returns Policy that aren't addressed on this page, please feel free to contact us.
