Philips GLS LED Light Bulb Dimmable DimTone B22 5.5W (40W Eqv) Warm White

£5.57

Sleek aesthetics and class-leading efficiency combine in the MASTER LEDbulb range of replacement LED GLS light bulbs from Philips. Also known as an A60 light bulb.

The example pictured here consumes just 5.5W and retrofits to any existing Bayonet Cap fixture. It is particularly effective in large-scale assemblies that require constant illumination such as corridors, hotel lobbies and staircases, where the full potential of its efficiency can be realised.

The light bulb's unique optical design lends it an attractive appearance when turned off while emitting an inviting, warm white glow in all directions when turned on. This makes it incredibly popular among the hospitality industry, as does its extensive compatibility with a range of leading and trailing edge dimmer switches.

Traditional light bulbs have a tendency to shift towards a warmer colour as they dim, while LED traditionally maintains the same colour. DimTone technology successfully mimics this behaviour while delivering all the efficiencies and reduced maintenance costs associated with LED.

The aesthetic appeal of this range of LED light bulbs manages to bridge the gap between form and function, a feat rarely achieved in the lighting industry. In designing an optical lens that manages to make a functional product physically appealing, Philips have created a light bulb that we actually want to buy, rather than simply need to.

Features a BC-B22d bayonet (22mm) cap base.

Here at SimplyLED, we want you to be able to buy with confidence both in ourselves and the products we sell. With this in mind, a number of our bulbs carry a specific warranty that ensures you can do exactly that.

Any LED or LED Smart light bulb bought from SimplyLED carries a 24-month warranty.

If you should purchase an LED light bulb from SimplyLED and have it fail, break or develop a fault at any point within the timeline stated above from the date of purchase, we will happily replace the item or offer a full refund, depending on your wishes.

In instances where large numbers of bulbs fail within a relatively short period of time, we may ask you to return them to us so that they can undergo testing to identify any potential issues.

What doesn't our warranty cover?

In any instance where your bulb has developed a fault, we will do our utmost to replace it or offer a full refund (provided the item is still within its stated warranty period). However, if it becomes apparent that the product has been misused, tampered with or modified in any way, we will view this as having voided its warranty.

'Misuse" includes, but is not limited to, incorrect operation by the user, use of non-dimmable bulbs on a dimmable circuit or connection to or operation with an unsuitable power supply. 'Tampering' or 'modification' can be interpreted as any activity designed to alter the product in such a way that it can be used in a manner that wasn't intended by its original design. This can include rewiring, removing plugs, home repairs or changing components. Unfortunately, we won't be able to replace any item that has undergone any such process.

If you have any further questions about our Warranty or Returns Policy that aren't addressed on this page, please feel free to contact us.
