This low voltage MR16 from Osram features an innovative GLOWdim capability, which allows the bulb to change colour temperature as it is dimmed. At its full brightness, it emits a bright 345 lumen warm white 2700K light, warming to 2000K when dimmed to its lowest setting.
The lamp is compatible with standard dimmers switches (please see manufacturer's website for more information), and offers an energy efficient, long lasting alternative to traditional halogen spotlights. The two-pin GU5.3 base directly retrofits to existing light fixtures, so installing the bulb is simply a case of swapping the old one out for the new. Its focused 36° beam angle makes it ideal for task lighting around the home, or for use in museums, galleries, shop windows and display cabinets.
Please note, as this is a low voltage bulb (12V), it needs to be fitted with a compatible low voltage driver/transformer when installed on a mains circuit. Please see the manufacturer's website for more details.

Any LED or LED Smart light bulb bought from SimplyLED carries a 24-month warranty.
If you should purchase an LED light bulb from SimplyLED and have it fail, break or develop a fault at any point within the timeline stated above from the date of purchase, we will happily replace the item or offer a full refund, depending on your wishes.
In instances where large numbers of bulbs fail within a relatively short period of time, we may ask you to return them to us so that they can undergo testing to identify any potential issues.
What doesn't our warranty cover?
In any instance where your bulb has developed a fault, we will do our utmost to replace it or offer a full refund (provided the item is still within its stated warranty period). However, if it becomes apparent that the product has been misused, tampered with or modified in any way, we will view this as having voided its warranty.
'Misuse" includes, but is not limited to, incorrect operation by the user, use of non-dimmable bulbs on a dimmable circuit or connection to or operation with an unsuitable power supply. 'Tampering' or 'modification' can be interpreted as any activity designed to alter the product in such a way that it can be used in a manner that wasn't intended by its original design. This can include rewiring, removing plugs, home repairs or changing components. Unfortunately, we won't be able to replace any item that has undergone any such process.
