Crompton T8 LED Tube Light 4ft 17.5W (36W Eqv) Daylight Opal
Utilising new advanced technology and an improved design, is this Crompton Lamps LED T8 tube with a 4ft length and 17.5W 6500K daylight light output. This LED T8 tube light from Crompton Lamps offers far superior performance and exceptional reliability when compared to old T8 fluorescent tubes.
Manufactured from a full glass tube with high-performance LED components, these T8 LED tubes are an ideal choice for both residential and commercial applications. Whether you need to illuminate your office, retail store, or home, this LED light tube is compatible with various fixtures, including recessed ceiling lighting, battens, troffers, and fluorescent strip lights, ensuring seamless integration into any environment.
Each tube comes with its own LED starter for direct replacement into your existing fluorescent fittings. Plus, with a start time of less than 0.5 seconds, you can experience instant full light without the need for complex adjustments, ensuring a flicker-free lighting experience every time. This high efficiency tube can be installed either with the LED starter for use in the most common type of T8 fittings with magnetic ballasts, or, for an even more energy-efficient performance, you can bypass the ballast and wire the LED tube direct to mains (we recommend the use of an electrician for this task).
As a 4ft LED replacement for 4ft T8 fluorescent tubes, this retrofit solution measures 1198mm in length (1212mm length including the pins) and is fitted with a standard G13 2-pin cap to either end.
Experience superior lighting quality when upgrading to LED technology. Emitting a daylight coloured light at 6500K, this LED tube creates a crisp light designed to replicate the natural light seen on an overcast day - ideal for retail displays or task lighting. The high colour rendering index of CRi 80+ ensures accurate colour representation, enhancing the visual appeal of your space.
With only a 17.5W power consumption, this LED T8 tube provides 2200lm of ample illumination while being super energy-efficient at a remarkable 126lm/W giving this tube an E rating on the new energy scale. Say goodbye to high electricity bills and hello to cost savings without compromising on brightness. This cost-effective tube light typically costs only £5.08 to run for 1,000 hours - a saving of £5.37 over its 36W fluorescent equivalent.
With a remarkable 25,000-hour lifespan and 12,500 switching cycles, it guarantees a long-lasting, sustainable lighting solution, with low maintenance and ensures consistent illumination throughout its usage. Unlike old T8 fluorescent tubes, LED tubes contain no phosphorus or mercury so do not diminish in brightness or colour over their lifetime while providing an environmentally friendly alternative for fluorescent T8 tubes.
Each LED tube carries a 2 year SimplyLED warranty as standard, but is also backed by a generous 4 year manufacturer's warranty, meaning you can purchase with peace of mind and confidence in your new Crompton Lamps LED T8 tube today.
